ABWB Founding Member

Here at The Wedding Barn we are delighted to announce that we have become a founding member of the Association of British Wedding Businesses.  

The ABWB is an industry body that has been set up by Hamish Shephard, founder of Bridebook, and it supports the wedding professional community within the UK.  This support network includes wedding venues, photographers, caterers, florists and the many different types of wedding business that prop up our nation’s noteworthy wedding industry.

Established as a result of the COVID-19 crisis, this organisation represents different sectors of our industry who have the passion and expertise to provide leadership and a voice for the community as a whole.

The mission of the ABWB is to support our wedding industry with insights and advice, advocate for growth, and serve as a liaison between the industry and government.  As an industry of 139,000+ individual wedding professionals across an array or services, our voices many not be heard at an individual level, but under the umbrella of the ABWB we can make a difference.
