Restored to its original glory to provide a picturesque wedding venue, it’s rurally located and nestled next to the pretty village of Steeple Bumpstead.

From an enclosed courtyard to a Shepherd’s Hut turned Bridal Boudoir, we have lots of spaces you can slip off to with your significant other - because when emotions are high, you need a space to decompress away from the spotlight.

“We got married at The Wedding Barn in May and it was the best day of our lives! From the lead-up to the wedding right through to the day itself, Georgie was incredibly responsive, organised and helpful. Chris (Georgie’s dad) was equally fantastic, so flexible and accommodating. It felt like we were all a team working towards making our day really special. One of the things we loved most about The Wedding Barn was that it never felt corporate or like a conveyor belt wedding venue. There’s such a lovely family-run atmosphere, which made the whole experience feel so much more personal and special. We never felt restricted and were able to make the day exactly what we wanted, which made it feel unique and completely reflective of us as a couple.
The barn itself is absolutely beautiful and honestly the photos don’t do it justice. The courtyard was perfect for the drinks reception and having a space outside to sit in the evening, and despite having a really warm day, the barn stayed wonderfully cool throughout.
The bar staff were also so friendly and accommodating and happy to work with things like our pre-mixed cocktails!
We also can’t recommend Georgie enough as a wedding coordinator. Having her there meant we could completely relax and enjoy the day without stress, and everything ran seamlessly from start to finish.

Can we create a bespoke wedding day at Old Hall?
You have access to Old Hall for a minimum of 48 hours - giving you the time and creative freedom to create the wedding of your dreams.
The venue is all yours for a minimum 48 hours, you can start at midday on the day before your event, until midday the day after your event or you can have the barn for the entire week of your wedding - the choice is yours.
How long is the hire period?
We include tables and chairs for up to 100 people in the hire fee, as well as a fully-staffed bar and of course the dance floor.
